Clear as a Bell
This module is a short campaign for play with the After rules system and can serve as an introduction to the game and the realm of Extempore, providing a structured and straightforward mission. It can be completed in around 5 sessions. As with all After campaigns, the main thrust of the story is the Present Act, with expository forays into a Past Act.
The Past Act flashes back to the days immediately after Rhode Island was pulled into the strange world of Extempore and the immediate existential threats to its inhabitants.
The Present Act revolves around travel and exploration as the players are charged with taking a journey that starts in one domain and crosses three others in succession before they arrive at their end goal. The party representing the state of Rhode Island, a domain newly arrived in the patchwork plane of Extempore, is travelling to a city called Sylvia; a hub of commerce, and the goal of the party is to establish a trade agreement to aid the Ocean Staters in this strange new world they find themselves in.
